I never grow tired of exploring this National Park in Southern Utah. Situated near the town of Moab it boasts lots of outdoor recreational activities. The beauty of the Eroded Sandstone rock and arches leaves you with an understanding that this is a sacred place. I will visit this area many more times in the next few years and the whole area changes due to the time of day, the casting of light and the seasons. While few visit during the winter I have had wonderful experiences. In particular one box canyon had a small arch that I approached to get a better photo shot of, I could not believe how quite it was. I heard a rustling and turned around, a full 2 blocks away there was a wild hare prancing in the snow. . . .I could hear every step the creature made. It darted in front of me and through the arch that was surrounded by Evergreens.
This is an acrylic painting on a gessoed Masonite panel. It has been prepared according to strict professional standards and should out last oil on canvas and be easier to maintain. If the painting becomes soiled, simply dust it with a clean cloth; at most, a damp rag or a weak soap solution.
DO NOT USE A HARSH OIL CLEANING SOLVENT.
