Hemoglobin gets the metal Iron (Fe) that allows multi-cellular organisms to supply inner cells with Oxygen (O2). This is an acrylic painting on a gessoed Masonite panel. It has been prepared according to strict professional standards and should out last oil on canvas and be easier to maintain. If the painting becomes soiled, simply dust it with a clean cloth; at most, a damp rag or a weak soap solution.
